Honda CR-V XM Radio Installation Instructions
1. Be sure to have the anti-theft code for the radio, then write down the radio station presets.
2. Disconnect the adverse cable from the battery.
3. Open the tailgate.
4. Fold down the rear seat-back, then fold the rear seat assemblies forward.
5. Fold the cargo area mat ahead, and take away the cargo area floor. Take away the cargo storage bin.
6. Remove the two front clips from the rear trim panel. Pull up on the rear trim panel to release the five clips.
7. Take away the left rear door sill trim (three clips).
8. Launch the two retaining tabs, and pull the accent socket. Disconnect the car connector from the accessory socket, and take away the accessory socket.
9. Take away the bolt that secures the tie-down hook to the left rear aspect trim panel, and remove the tie- down hook. Open the cap, and remove the self- tapping screw that secures the hook. Take away every the hook.
10. Take away the clip, and take away the left rear side trim panel from the body panel by beginning on the front. Then, release the six clips and 4 retaining tabs by pulling the left rear side trim panel toward you.
11. Remove the left rear pillar upper trim (five clips).
12. Gently pull up the panel seal. Take care to not harm to the facet seal.
13. Within the cargo space, take away the rear headliner clip by releasing the 2 retaining tabs.
14. By the rear headliner clip hole, remove the nut that secures the roof cover. Discard the roof cowl, and save the nut to be reused later.
15. Remove the cargo area light: -Release the four retaining tabs, and take away the lens. -Remove the two screws that fasten the cargo area light, and unplug the automobile connector. Remove the cargo area light.
16. Gently pull down the headliner to launch the one headliner clip. Be careful not bend the headliner.
